Mawlana Hazar Imam has time and again emphasized the importance of Early Childhood Development and in accordance with this, ELC has this year opened a whopping 5 new centres!!!
Starting with Changombe centre in May and closely followed by Arusha, Mbeya, Morogoro and Dodoma, Ismaili children around the nation are joining the hoopla.
These centres aim to create a dedicated space where children learn through fun and games, predominantly focusing on literacy to create a love of books and reading.
Our existing centres continue to mature and metamorphose with the introduction of a brand new curriculum which draws heavily on spiritual education setting us up for an exciting 2017!
Child development however, begins before birth and to that end we are pleased to announce a new facet of ELC – our prenatal programme. Open to all expecting parents, these sessions will host a wide range of expert speakers on topics ranging from nutrition in pregnancy to lactation, immunization and many more as well as instructor led activities including Yoga for pregnancy.
